While these functions appear to focus solely on physical development, they are also concerned with economic, environmental and social needs.
Smart cities are places where digital solutions are leveraged to enhance the use of traditional networks and services. Thereby the aim of smart cities is to increase the quality of life for the residents, improve sustainability, and benefit businesses.
